John’s daily practice through many modalities has been empowering others to develop and realize their vision of their own best self. This commitment has taken him into management consulting, alternative education, formal, and informal coaching and even parenting. 

John has received consistent praise from clients in many situations for profound support in their journey.

Formal education includes a University of Maryland B.S. in Elementary Education, extensive study with Landmark Education in communication skills, personal development and listening strategies. A masters degree at Columbia University in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution and The Columbia Coaching Certification Program.

An Informal and powerful education comes with each of the interactions in his work. Each interaction is a learning moment for both the coach and the client. John’s motto, My favorite thing is finding out when I’m wrong, is a window to learning and to being sure that the practice is grounded in the client’s innate capability and power.
